Location perfect for Gothic Quarter exploration.

It has perfect location close to Gothic Quarter Centre...

Had a VERY GOOD stay even during vacation, and would use them next time. The location was amazing and magnificent, is well situated in main tourist area, convenient to go everywhere. Dined at La fonda, it was a 10-15 minute walk from the venue.

The steep stairs were an absolute nightmare, definitely not what I envisioned for a relaxing getaway. My room was so small I nearly lost my mind, and, oh, don't get me started on the kitchen sink failure. I mean, a welcome gift or even a room upgrade would have been nice to smooth things over, but apparently that's too much to ask.

Staff very nice, room and toilet very clean. great localization close to restaurants and metro.Recomended

Location, location, location. All other is what you pay for, shared bathrooms (2 for all 10 rooms) is a bit tricky. Free Wi-fi is a plus.

The rooms are very very small. In the double, there is basically just a bed.

I had a great time at Hostal Nitzs! The location in the Gothic Quarter was perfect for exploring. The staff was super helpful, and I loved chilling in the common area. Just a heads up, the stairs are a workout, so pack light!

Appartement in the historic district that has been recently converted into a hostal with modern, nice but small rooms. Everything is nicely renovated, all the furniture is new, the rooms are quiet, the free wifi works.

The rooms are rather small, but I think this is normal for hostals at this price in central Barcelona.

We stayed in 14 different places on our trip, and the room at this hostel was the smallest of them all, with no air con, while also being located on the fourth floor with no lift. Two bathrooms for over 9 rooms, wasnt all that impressed and wont be staying there again. Staff were helpful, however the room was too small, the weather too hot, and the fan too slow.

The location is wonderful, allowing me to stroll through the Gothic Quarter and easily access local eateries. My room was cozy, with a lovely balcony that overlooked a charming courtyard.

Steep stairs may be challenging.

The Hostal Nitzs was very clean with new furniture, welcome water and chocolates - it was nice.

I've chosen this Hostal because of The place (near plaza catalunya) -but.... it was so hard to find it!!!!!!!! Hostal Nitzs is in a such a small street, that you can't find it in any map. We were trying to find it 2 hours. At the end - we needed to go up by the very steep stairs - 3 or 4 floors. The person from the reception - he was talking just very strange spanish - we couldn't understand anything (like nowhere else). The room was just big bad and little place to put your lagguage.

The location is good

No air con and quilt is provided. And only 2 wc share with 10 rooms. Always need to queue up to wait. And no elevator, u need to carry ur belongs climb 4 levels.... So compare with such condition, the price is little bit high There's some bar near the hostel, but I can fall a sleep with noisy

Options for dining and shopping just steps away. The friendly staff made check-in easy. Be prepared for some noise at night, as the area is lively and can be a bit loud after hours.

Centrally located in the old town. Wallking distance to both the old town, the Ramblas the old port and the Barcelonette beach.

NO Airconditioning in the rooms, only in the reception area. Extremely hot room with noisy ceiling fan. Not recommended to stay here during summer period.

Well located in the centre of BCN just a few minutes walk from Las Ramblas. Friendly staff.
